Deep South Wrestling is Atlanta's independent pro wrestling promotion — founded in 1986 by Jody Hamilton ("The Masked Assassin") and kept alive today by his son, WWE/WCW veteran Nick Patrick. Relaunched in 2022, DSW now runs free, family-friendly live shows at rotating Atlanta venues — Monday Night Garage, New Realm Brewing, Atlanta Dairies, and community festivals — drawing 300+ fans a show.
It's all spectacle, acrobatics, and big, bold, diverse characters — unabashed entertainment for a crowd that spans every age, interest, and background, which the Atlanta Journal-Constitution has covered as a genuine local resurgence story.
